Celebrating over a quarter-century of raising nearly $500 million and building awareness for brain-related disorders, the 26th Music Festival for Brain Health continues this September 12 as both a virtual and multi-city event.
Embarking on the next 25 years of raising funds to support innovative research and the development of new therapies, this year’s festival features in-person ‘Supper Club’ dining experiences, as well virtual experiences, at select Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses and Mastro’s Steakhouses around the country. A departure from the annual gathering at the Staglin Family Vineyard, this year’s format allows supporters to participate while staying within their “comfort zone.”
The day begins at 10:00 a.m. PDT with the Scientific Symposium webinar and Q&A with leaders in brain health, featuring Victor Dzau, MD, President of the National Academy of Medicine, and Michelle Craske, PhD, Director of UCLA’s Anxiety and Depression Research Center, plus One Mind’s 2020 Rising Star Award-winners discussing groundbreaking scientific discoveries in the brain health field. Moderated by Eric Nestler, MD, PhD, Director of the Mount Sinai Friedman Brain Institute, the symposium is free with registration.
At 4:30 p.m. PDT / 7:30 p.m. EDT, donors may enjoy dinner out at one of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse’s sixteen locations and participating Mastro’s Steakhouse locations. This Wine & Jazz ‘Supper Club’ experience will be held in each restaurant’s private dining room, featuring a multi-course dinner by Chef Ariel Fox paired with the wines of Staglin Family Vineyard.
The Wine & Jazz ‘Supper Club’ can also be experienced as a take-out dinner kit to enjoy at home. At 5:00 p.m. PDT / 8:00 p.m. EDT, ten-time GRAMMY Award-winner Arturo Sandoval and an ensemble band will perform an exclusive streaming web concert.
26th Music Festival for Brain Health donors unable to attend a “Supper Club” have an exclusive opportunity to enjoy the one-of-a-kind streamed jazz concert performance from home.
The limited seating Wine & Jazz ‘Supper Club’ Dinner at Del Frisco’s or Mastro’s is a $2,500 donation/pp, the ‘Supper Club Take-Out Meal Kit for Two’ is a $2,000 donation, and access to the Wine & Jazz Concert Virtual Stream is a $1,000 donation/pp.
Admission to the symposium only is free with prior registration. To reserve a spot at the dinner, concert or symposium, please visit www.music-festival.org and click the yellow register link.
