REVEAL LIVE! ENTERTAINMENT has announced that submissions are being accepted today for its first “FilmFest” taking place October 24-25, 2020.
FIlmUp (https://www.filmup.co) and From the Heart Productions (https://fromtheheartproductions.com) have been announced as partners and participants in the panel of judges.
“Reveal and its team are known for the production of major live, on-location concerts, events, festivals and pop-ups. This time, we’re leveraging our experience to produce the first of a series of virtual film festivals that honor emerging filmmakers and provide a unique entertainment experience for our audiences,” said Kara Williamson, Reveal Founder and CEO.
Submission Categories have been established for filmmakers of all ages and levels of experience, including Feature Length (over 30 mins); Documentary Short Form (under 30 mins); Documentary Long Form (over 30 mins); Short Form Content (under 30 mins); Music Video (1 song per submission); Student Short Form Content (under 30 mins); and Student Social Media Length Content (under 2 mins)
Films may be submitted, in all formats, including cell phone-produced, to Film Freeway (https://filmfreeway.com/RLFF).
Grants will be awarded to the overall winner in each category. All finalists will receive participation award certificates. Grant amounts are as follows: Feature Length – $500; Documentary Short Form – $175; Documentary Long Form – $200; Short Form Content – $225; Music Video – $175; Student Short Form Content – $150; and Student Social Media Length Content – $75.
All winners and finalists will be available to view on the Eventive Platform (https://rlff.eventive.org/welcome) on October 24-25, 2020.
