The first African-American actor in a lead role takes center stage on Broadway in The Black Emperor of Broadway, a young boy is stolen far from his home and finds courage to make a change in Bilal: A New Breed of Hero, Black excellence in the medical community is highlighted in The Color of Medicine: The Story of Homer G. Phillips Hospital, and two female junior detectives solve a neighborhood crime in Hidden Orchard Mysteries: The Case of the Air B & B Robbery.
