Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe is back in the saddle again! The picturesque resort welcomed back loyal locals today at 9 a.m., and reopened its doors to the public at noon. The much-anticipated reopening includes comprehensive health and safety protocols and enhancements to the resort’s sanitation practices, which include social distancing measures, to ensure the well-being of guests and team members as they return.

While exploring the newly reopened resort, guests may find some surprising new company: fashionably dressed stuffed bears. Outfitted in stylish attire and accessories by team members and their families, the stuffed bears have taken seats in venues around property as they reopen with limited capacities to encourage social distancing.
On Wednesday, June 3, in honor of the resort’s newest guests, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe made a $5,000 contribution to the BEAR League, a completely volunteer and community-based, not-for-profit organization in the Lake Tahoe Basin, Truckee and beyond committed to keeping bears safe and wild in their natural habitats.
Additionally, throughout the month of June, for every social media post guests place on their social channels, the casino will donate $1 back to the BEAR League in addition to contributing $1 for every signature Hard Rock bear purchased at the property. Guests are encouraged to tag @hrhclaketahoe and use the hashtag #HardRockBears when posting about the furry friends on social media.
In celebration of the reopening, the resort is honoring first responders and essential frontline workers with one free room night when using the code SALUTE. The offer is available to the first 1,000 guests who book and is good for stays June 4 through December 20, 2020.
