Vision Films will release To The Beat! Back 2 School, the second film from director and actress, Jillian Clare (Victorious: Freak The Freak Out, Days of our Lives, Pretty Broken) on all major VOD platforms and DVD on March 10, 2020. To The Beat! Back 2 School is the sequel to the hit teen comedy To The Beat!, released in 2018, also from Leonian Pictures and Clare’s, Whimsical Entertainment.
In the highly anticipated sequel, the popular teen cast goes back to their performing arts school following spring break to compete for an all-expenses-paid summer scholarship program to a prestigious conservatory of fine arts. Friendships and feuds continue as sisterhood is tested, new bonds are formed, and rivalries heat up, leading to a drama-filled evening at the epic 80s Spring Fling, where a major scheme shuts down the party and jeopardizes the upcoming end-of-year showcase.
The film reunites Laura Krystine, (100 Things To Do Before High School, Instructions Not Included) and Brisa Lalich (Teens Wanna Know), as twin sisters Mackie and Mia, with Jayden Bartels (Coop and Cami Ask The World) as their frenemy, Avery. Along with their crew of triple-threat talented friends, they embark on what could be the biggest competition and opportunity of their young lives.
Returning teen stars include Jake Brennan (Schooled, Richie Rich), Jaheem Toombs (100 Things To Do Before High School, Singer) and Trevor Larcom (ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat, Teachers, Fuller House). Adult roles are reprised by Martha Madison ( Days of Our Lives, To The Beat!, One Mississippi, Ladies of The Lake), Eric Martsolf (Days of our Lives, To The Beat!, Passions), Marie Wilson (Days of our Lives, As The World Turns, Ladies of The Lake, To The Beat!) and Lilly Melgar (General Hospital, To The Beat!, Ladies of the Lake).
Joining the antics are pop singer Hayden Summerall (Chicken Girls), musician Bryce Xavier (Total Eclipse), Casey Simpson (Timecrafters: The Treasure of Pirate’s Cove; Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), singer Jillian Shea Spaeder (Godmothered, Walk The Prank), dancer Gabe De Guzman (Club Mickey Mouse), Bianca & Chiara D’Ambrosio (yA – the series, A Day in the Life), Sydney Bourne (Pynk Le’Monade), newcomer Emily Faucret, plus Betsy Randle (Boy Meets World), Keith Powell (30 Rock), Peter Allen Vogt (New Year’s Eve; Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Adam Chambers (Andi Mack, Pretty Broken) and director Jillian Clare as Ruby, the school secretary.
